Daniel joined Holdens in 2008 as a trainee, and qualified as a solicitor in late 2010, after combining his employment with the firm with part-time study at the University of Central Lancashire.

Daniel is now an Assistant Solicitor with the firm, and is a member of the Litigation and Employment teams.

His litigation workload consists of varied matters, including acting for both individuals and companies in breach of contract disputes, receiving instructions in debt collection matters, and acting for both sides in Landlord and Tenant disputes.

Daniel is also able to advise clients in relation to enforcing Judgments, be it by way of Charging Order and Order for Sale, or by presentation of Bankruptcy or Winding-Up Petitions.

Hutton undertakes employment work for both employers and employees. He is able to assist businesses with general HR advice, as well as representing their interests in Employment Tribunal claims brought against them.

Employment is another of Daniel's strengths. Daniel acts for employees in relation to Unfair and Wrongful Dismissal claims, and can negotiate settlements to disputes through the use of Compromise Agreements.

Acting for clients in all types of Personal Injury claims, be it Accidents at Work, Road Traffic Accident claims, or Trip and Slip claims where the appropriate authority has failed to maintain the highway to the requisite standard. He also regularly submits Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority claims on behalf of clients, and is willing to discuss all funding options available in each instance.

Daniel enjoys cricket, football, and generally keeping fit when away from work, as time permits (!)
