Educated at DeMontfort Univ and Guildford College of Law, Chris began his career in the Midlands dealing with all manner of criminal cases throughout the UK. He has extensive experience in offences ranging from murder, large scale drugs conspiracies, armed robbery and complex fraud cases.

Qualified as a solicitor-advocate in 2004, meaning that Chris has rights of audience in the Crown Court and conducts his own jury trials for clients throughout the North of England and beyond.

He has appeared at the Court of Appeal and was involved in the case of R V Brookes, a leading authority on legal privilege decided at the House of Lords. An approachable lawyer, Chris has represented a wide range of clients including solicitors and barristers accused of criminal offences.

Outside of work, Chris’s interests include fell running, climbing and cycling.
